For over 40 years, FHCB Health System’s board of directors has been the strategic heart of our organization. They ensure that in our work for the community, we deliver safe and excellent health care, respond to changes in our community and always deliver the highest health standards to be worthy of our public support. Our Board of Directors is comprised of devoted individuals who volunteer their time and energy to provide the Center with ongoing guidance and leadership. The majority of our Board members are patients, so their leadership reflects the interests, issues, and concerns of the people we serve. The Board of Directors are vested with ultimate responsibility for the fiduciary management of FHCB, and to ensure that the Center fulfills its mission. Volunteers often work behind the scenes without much recognition. We would like to publicly thank FHCB’s Board of Directors.
To compliment FHCB Health System’s mission, diversification of our board of directors culturally, racially, professionally, and geographically is key. The board of directors collectively and ideally should be a mix of members who have experience in working with diverse communities including health care, community outreach, education, real estate, law, behavioral health, social justice, finance, organizational development, public relations, policy, grant writing and more.
If you are interested in being considered for our board, please contact President and CEO Brian A. Hawkins, MHA, via email at CEO@fhcb.org.
