Family Health Centers of Baltimore CEO Paula McLellan was quoted in a Capital Gazette article concerning the funding of Federally Qualified Health Centers in our current political climate.

Paula McLellan, CEO of Family Health Centers of Baltimore, which has a clinic in north county, said the ACA has allowed patients to get not only primary care but dental and other services.
“As substance abuse has become a national epidemic, we have been able to treat that population,” McLellan said. “Wedding substance abuse with primary care services and working with health departments, we are making a difference.”
She said that “the federal government wants a reduction of people dying from substance abuse. We can change people’s lives.”
